The client approached us for targeted advertising services in August 2023. Their main issues included low online orders, lack of an effective promotion strategy and declining sales due to the war.
We launched advertising campaigns and after analyzing the first month’s results, we identified the need to expand social media presence (SMM) to improve ad performance. Although the client’s account was visually appealing and filled with video content, it was “tasty” but not converting.
Prime location in the city center
High-quality products
Cozy place for relaxation
Low online activity
Lack of established online sales channels
Low audience engagement on social media
Limited geography due to products that cannot be transported
No sales scripts or organized work from sales managers
Analyzing internal business processes, we found the client was not working with their customer base or leveraging LTV (lifetime value). We developed a customer communication and database management plan, resulting in increased sales of holiday boxes and Easter cakes, boosting overall sales by 45–50%.
This was achieved without additional investment by using our software for mailings for free, maximizing profitability.
Additionally, the sales closure rate through direct messages increased due to our implementation of scripts for handling inquiries.
After analyzing the product assortment, we realized expansion opportunities in Dnipro were geographically limited. We suggested creating gift boxes for shipment across Ukraine to expand sales geography, attract new audiences and gain new customers.
As a result of analyzing various aspects of the business and based on the data obtained, we implemented seemingly small changes. Yet, we achieved powerful and positive results, turning the business’s weaknesses into growth opportunities.
