About the project

“Hanna Ishchenko & Partners” is a law firm that has been operating in the Ukrainian legal market for over 10 years, offering services in military, family, corporate and other areas of law.


Point A

The client approached us for a trial period (2 weeks) to analyze existing ad campaigns and test new hypothesis. Based on the available data, the cost of lead acquisition exceeded their value, resulting in a discrepancy between expected and actual outcomes.

  • Main Issue: A large number of irrelevant leads, negatively impacting the return on the advertising budget.
  • Advertising Goals: Increase the number of qualified inquiries and improve the effectiveness of ad campaigns in the areas of military and family law.

Solution

To address the challenges, we developed and implemented a comprehensive targeted advertising strategy that included the following actions:

  • Strategy Development and Ad Launch:
    • Identifying broad audiences with common interests (e.g., military personnel, government employees) for military law.
    • Creating look-alike audiences based on the existing client database as well as audiences derived from website visitor
  • Testing ad objectives:
    • Website visits
    • Leads to the website
    • Leads to lead forms

    • Leads on Instagram
  • Analysis and optimization:
    • Daily monitoring of ad performance and making real-time adjustments as needed.
  • Scaling successful campaigns: 
    • Scaling lead-form campaigns that showed positive results.
  • Content recommendations:
    • Using a mix of content formats (static ad creatives and video) to increase audience engagement and trust.
  • Data collection and analysis:
    • Weekly analysis of campaign results and tracking the number of qualified leads.
  • Performance evaluation:
    • Evaluation of sales volume based on generated leads and analysis of overall advertising campaign performance.

Challenges

  • Campaign Competition: another specialist was running ads in the same ad account, leading to competition between campaigns and higher auction costs.
  • Limited Launch Time: only 2 weeks were allocated for strategy development and execution (with 1 week for the actual launch).
  • Irrelevant Inquiries: due to the ongoing war, the client received inquiries about mobilization, a service they do not offer. Limiting such inquiries was difficult.
  • Long Sales Cycle: the sales cycle could range from 1 week to 1.5 months, complicating the evaluation of budget return.
  • Complexity of ROI Evaluation: due to the specific nature of the niche (a client relationship could last up to 6 months or more) it was challenging to accurately assess the return on the advertising budget.
